Advisory Work

From my international consulting experience I am able to provide with advisory services to institutions and private companies:

• In 2002 and 2003 I provided advice to the Government of Catalonia to set up a Trust Fund with the World Bank Group and coordinated the creation of dgMarket Catalan version to allow Catalan companies access information on international procurement opportunities.
  
  
• In 2005-2006 I provided guidance on launching several programs for the Government of Catalonia to work closer with international organizations. As a result of the efforts the Government of Catalonia was able to establish internship and staff exchange programs with several UN Agencies.
  
  
• Since 2007 I have been providing advice to l'Anella, an initiative launched by an agency of the Government of Catalonia that aims at increasing knowledge sharing on internationalization topics for the private sector.
  
  
• Since 2007 I have been providing advice to ecomunicat, a start-up that develops artificial vision applications, with its international research strategy. As a result of the advice ecomunicat is now working closely with the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in the United States.
  
  
• Since 2008 I am a member of the International Commission at Fundació Catalanista i Demòcrata Trias Fargas, a civil society organization in Catalonia whose objective is to promote activities and studies related to the development of political ideas.
  
  
• Between 2002 and 2004 I was a member of the Fundación Iberoamericana del Conocimiento. In 2010 we re-launched the initiative and we are starting to work with partners in Latin America.
