Consulting
I perform most of my consulting activities with
The World Bank Group. I have been involved in
technical and non-technical assignments with the aim of increasing
knowledge sharing and information exchange:
- In 2003 and 2004 I worked in the business team at AiDA
coordinating XML harvests, code maintenance, usability tests
and its presentation
layer redesign. AiDA is a catalog of information on development
activities found on the websites or internal information systems
of major bilateral donors, multilateral development banks and
UN agencies that uses an IDML
(International Development Markup Language) and an XML
schema to integrate information from multiple sources to
enable searching and retrieval from a common interface.
- In 2004 and 2005 I coordinated the communications efforts
of Knowledge Management team in the Latin America and Caribbean
region of the World Bank.
- Since 2004 I have been actively involved
in the development of the Spanish
website for the World Bank. We have expanded the content
and moved it from a regional focused site (i.e. Latin America)
to a global site providing information on the World Bank across
the world.
- Between 2008 and 2009 I have led the efforts to create an
online
community on international procurement for the Catalan Government.
I analyzed and designed knowledge flow processes. The methodology
I created and implemented is now expanded in the rest of the
communities of the portal.
- In summer 2009 I participated in the creation of an analysis
for the Development
Bank of Jamaica to evaluate strategic options for their credit
windows.
